Spooktacular Campus Center Cinema!

Location: Wells Hall, B-Wing

Join us for a spooky night of movies and fun! Come dressed in your Halloween's best to be entered into a costume contest! Enjoy games, apple cider, donuts, cookies and candies from around the world while supplies last! Free for all MSU Students plus one guest.

Costume Contest:

Students can enter one (1) or more of four (4) categories, BUT can only win for one)!

1.       College Budget- This is the best costume for the least amount of money!

2.       Spookiest/Scariest- Only the scariest and gruesome costumes will be considered!

3.       Funniest- Awarded to the wittiest, most laugh-out-loud, sarcastic, slapstick costume yet!

4.       (Group/Duo)-Each duo/group members costume should reflect the same amount of effort as the rest of the group and the costumes should be well coordinated. (2-5 people, no more than 5)

 Prizes are as follows:

o   College Budget/Spooky|Scary/Funniest- $20 Spartan Cash and two NCG movie passess

o   Duo/group- Each winning member will receive $20 Spartan Cash and ONE NCG movie pass!


All costumes will be judged on the following:

·         Creativity- the most unique/imaginative costume yet!

·         Effort- The amount of work that was put into the costume.

·         Execution- How well the costume idea was translated into a real costume

Each category will be rated on a scale of 1-5, with 5 being the best and the highest!

In case of a tie, UAB staff will cast a vote to break the tie.

Winners will be announced at the end of each film. If winners are not present, they will be notified via email.
