Film Festival 2017
Submissions are now being accepted for the 2017 Film Festival!
Terms & Conditions
I. You must be a student of Michigan State University to submit a film to the Spartan Film Festival.
II. Eligible films must be submitted to the link provided below. Be prepared to submit a physical copy of your film to the UAB office in the Union if you are selected.
III. You must submit a .pdf file of a promotional poster for your film to the email provided below.
IV. We ask that your film fulfill the purpose of the festival by "exposing the greater Michigan State University community to the unique narratives and ideas of this generation of students".
V. Each film must be an original body of work.
VI. Each film must remain within compliance of Michigan State University Student Rights and Responsibilities.
VII. Each film must be between 5 and 15 minutes in length.
VIII. Filmmakers must be available on April 21 2017 from 7:30pm to 11pm.
IX. Non-English films must be accompanied by subtitles.
X. Films must be submitted by March 13th 2017 at 11:59pm.
XI. Filmmakers will be notified of their selection status by March 20th 2017.
XII. Your submission grants the University Activities Board the rights to screen your film at Campus Center Cinemas, and market the screening of the film using your name.
