Battle of the Bands Applications

Are you in a band? UAB wants you to audition for Battle of the Bands!

 

Performance date will be April 10th at the International Center

Bands will need to arrive by 6:30PM and will need to stay throughout the entire event.

Event starts at 9pm, doors 8:30pm.

All submissions must have submission form and a video in some medium accompanying

Submissions can be dropped off at the UAB office or emailed.

If these 3 options do not work for you please email Emily Fenger to discuss other options.

 

Battle of the Band Rules and Regulations

·     

Bands must have at least 2 people in it. No solo artists.

·     

At least 1 member of the band must be an Michigan State University student.

·     

Prizes 1st place 10 hours in a recording studio, 2nd and 3rd place $200 and $100 shopping spree* at an East Lansing Music store of your choosing.

·     

All equipment other than guitars and bass guitars will be provided by Sound EFX.

·     

If selected to perform your band will have to sign a University Activities Board student performer contract.

·     

Bands will be informed on by March 20th and will have until March 30th to accept. If you fail to accept your spot will be offered to alternates. There will be a secure room for you to hang out in and keep your stuff in.

 

*Students must tell University Activities Board what items they would like and University Activities Board will purchase them and have them available for pick up at the University Activities Board Office in the Michigan State University Union

 

The University Activities Board Office is located on the ground floor of the MSU Union room 26.
